Text Message Terms

Essential Transport Assistance sends text messages about rides you have booked with us. There are four kinds, and that is all we send:

• A confirmation when your ride is booked.
• A reminder the day before the ride.
• A note when your driver is on the way to pick you up.
• An update to the family member you designate, letting them know you are on board.

We do not send marketing, promotions, or advertising by text. Ever.

You give us your mobile number when you book a ride — on the phone with our dispatch office, or through the request form on this website — and we tell you we will text you about that ride. We only text people who have a ride booked with us. We never buy, rent, or import phone number lists.

Message frequency depends on how many rides you book — expect roughly one to four messages per ride. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan and mobile carrier.

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting that number. You can also reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPTOUT, or simply call dispatch at 954.477.7340 and ask us to turn them off.

Opting out does not affect your transportation. We will reach you by phone about your ride instead. If you change your mind, reply START or tell dispatch and we will turn texts back on.

Our messages are supported on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Because delivery can never be guaranteed, we do not rely on text messages alone for anything time-critical — if a ride detail changes materially, our dispatch office calls you.

We do not sell your mobile number or your consent to be texted, and we do not share either with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. See our privacy policy for the full picture of what we collect and why.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the last change. Continuing to receive our ride notifications after a change means the updated terms apply.
